Career Expo comes to the commons
Students from across Utica Community Schools have the chance to speak with over 100 career representatives in one day at the Career Expo taking place in the commons on March 19.
“I am really excited to explore the different careers and see if there is something worth pursuing when I go to college in the fall,” senior Haylie Kakares said.
The Expo brings career representatives from six different pathways: Arts and Communications, Business, Management, Marketing and Technology, Engineering/Manufacturing and Industrial Technology, Health Sciences, Human Services, and Natural Resources and Agriscience.
The event is open to all UCS students and parents and is free admission.
“I think it is very unique to be able to see so many different careers at once and I am looking forward to going,” junior Jordan Barker said.
Time in high school is limited, but a career is a lifetime and it is never too early to start exploring.
