NHS creates Relay for Life Group

The schedule for the National Honors Society meeting.

National Honors Society had their monthly meeting on February 11 to discuss starting a charity group that will be participating in Relay for Life.

“I’m really excited about the new Relay for Life committee,” NHS adviser Shane Smith said. “Most of our juniors running this event which I’m happy about so they can get involved and ready to lead for next year.”

The Relay for Life committee will be meeting in Smith’s room and dates will be announced closer to May if students are interested to join the committee.

“I am so excited to be in the Relay for Life committee with my NHS friends,” junior Hannah Campbell said. “It is something new for me to try and it is such a great charity for people in need.”
