Nina Nesbitt Music Video Review
Noticed by Ed Sheeran and YouTube videos, Scottish singer songwriter and guitarist Nina Nesbitt expresses a unique sound through her alternative folk style.
Her delicate vocal range provides a soothing atmosphere that bounces off a catchy and cheerful vibe. Ironically, she is the girl version of Ed Sheeran.
The acoustic tone creates an authentic and natural feeling, which describes her as an artist. From leather jackets to flowered headbands, Nesbitt’s personal style in her music videos portrays a sweet, yet edgy fashion. Both her music and style make her unique and eye catching.
Although inventive and original, she lacks variety with her music. Eventually pieces blend together like eighth notes on sheet music. Her songs “Way in the World” and “Boy” share similar instrumental sounds, but the words are different.
Nesbitt’s music videos slowly gain a white-collared style, but they still obtain a source of unprofessional quality-as if the videos were filmed by a friend. Vevo, a 24 hour video hosting service, represents some of Nesbitt’s popular music videos, which helps them appear more professional, like her song “The Apple Tree” featured on her recent album.
Have some spare time? Check out Nesbitt’s newest and only album, “Peroxide.” It can be purchased on iTunes and downloaded on Spotify. It won’t be time wasted.
