The first ever Senior Sunrise was held from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. on the the football field Monday night.

“I think the senior sunrise and sunset are cool because you get to start and end senior year with all you friends,” senior Olivia Valley said.

Yearbooks were passed out in the beginning of the evening so seniors could go through the memories of their last year before graduation while socializing with their friends and fellow classmates.

Seniors had a bunch of activities to pick from; they could read the yearbook and listen to music to enjoy free food and drinks like popcorn and icees.

To top off the night seniors laid on the field and watched Toy Story 3 as their “drive-in” movie.

“It’s bittersweet being the last week of school,” Valley said. “I’m excited for the future, but it’s going to be sad not seeing all my friends everyday.”
