The scene for Basketbal tryouts is set for November 15th. “I feel like its gonna be a breeze this year,” Fodale said. Fodale is ready to make his mark.

After some setbacks in sports these last couple of years, senior basketball player Anthony Fodale is trying to make his last year of tryouts one of the best as he prepares for his final year.

“I am trying out. It is my last year to be on the basketball courts here at Eisenhower,” Fodale said.

Fodale has been playing basketball for Eisenhower since his freshman year. The last few seasons have been different with limited fans and restrictions. Training for the season has been intense, as the players prepare for the upcoming tryouts in November 15-17.

“I only saw like two returning seniors, plus me. So, that makes three or so seniors that are trying out. I am not sure why there aren’t more. It may be the coaching staff, to be honest,” Fodale said.

“I feel like it’s gonna be a breeze this year, but I am still gonna come ready. I have already been practicing to get game-ready,” Fodale said. The season starts in just a few weeks.

Tryouts will determine who is ready to take on the task. “We got demoted last year from Mac Red to Mac White. So, I’m thinking we’ll do well this year,” Fodale said
