Sports Bar Reviews

When you want to sit back and watch the game, but your stomach is grumbling for some food, these places might be the spot for you.

Buffalo Wild Wings seems to be the place to go to watch the game. They make sure their food, amount of TVs and service is all top of the line. Their traditional wings are the main thing to snack on while watching your team win on the large-screen TVs hanging on the walls. People pack in fast so it gets quite loud inside the restaurant. However, they keep the volume high so customers can hear the commenting over everyone. Buffalo Wild Wings has over 40 TVs inside so customers can watch football, basketball, baseball and many more. Their wings are absolutely amazing with the perfect amount of sauce, crunch and most importantly, they are very meaty. The price of the snack size wings are $9.76, which is a perfect size for one person. The only noticeable problem is when big games are showing, the seats fill up quickly, so they need to get more seating to satisfy their customers. Overall, Buffalo Wild Wings earns a 4/5.

Mavrix is a wonderful place to go to eat while watching the game. Their wing prices are phenomenal and they have a perfect taste to them. They don’t fill up as much as Buffalo Wild Wings on game day, so customers can head there to get a guaranteed spot to watch the game. Mavrix has about 20-25 TVs inside for entertainment and around four of them are large screen TVs. Their service is amazing; they are quick and check on people periodically. The rest of the menu consists of what people would think to be at a bar; burgers, chicken tenders, salads, etc. Their five piece wings are the perfect size for one person and the price is $6.99. All of their food comes out fast, hot and delicious. There’s just one problem, the restaurant is very dark inside, even on bright days. Overall, Mavrix earns a 3/5 due to lighting issues.

Art and Jakes is a great place to sit down with some friends and talk while the game goes on. The dining experience was remarkable with fast service, delicious food and most importantly, perfect positioning toward the TVs. The lighting and atmosphere was on point, just as expected from a good sports restaurant. The one problem with A&J is that their ribs were slightly undercooked and didn’t fall off the bone like expected. Other than the ribs, the wings were crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside and the seats were in perfect view of the game. They have well over 20 TVs, but they are mostly just small. It doesn’t take away from the game watching experience, but it would be better if they add a couple larger TVs. Overall, Art and Jakes earns a 4/5.
