Successful Girls lacrosse season

The inaugural season for the girls varsity lacrosse team was a rousing success.

“I didn`t know anything about lacrosse before joining this year; so I took lacrosse clinics to learn the sport,” sophomore Noel Sherry said.

It took awhile for the girls to learn the game and cooperate as a team. It was a frustrating process for the girls. This was a learning season for the team and their record does not look very pretty. Despite the skewed win-loss ratio, the girls still had a successful season with plenty of memories that were made.

“My favorite memory this year was when Addie Bury scored the game winning goal with under a minute left to win our first game versus ford,” sophomore Anna Szalowski said.

The first year of girls lacrosse has now paved the path to have a successful lacrosse program for a long time.
