Dance Team Competition

The smell of hairspray and makeup combined with many teams and fans shouts dance competition. After a successful first competition of the season, the junior varsity and varsity dance teams will be competing in the second one of this year on Sunday, Dec. 6. “I thought we did our best and worked as a team and had fun off and on the dance floor,” varsity dance team captain Brenna Noyes said. One competition down already, and both teams are continuing to strive to hold their titles. Varsity received first in both hip and jazz dances, while JV earned first in jazz and second place in their pom routine. The second competition will take place at Stevenson High School. The dancers hope to have a better turnout than most competitions because of its more convenient location.
