Eagle Voices practices for the country concert during school. “My favorite part is that it’s all student driven,” choir director Julia Holt said. The country concert is choreographed by the students.

Choir classes unite to display their new country flare at the Country Concert on May 19 and 20 in the PAC.

“We always do a themed concert every year,” Choir director Julia Holt said. “ We’ve done a lot of styles, but never country; I thought it was time.”

The concert will take place on May 19 and 20 in the Performing Arts Center. It will begin at 7 p.m. The choir will be singing all forms of country music, featuring “Stuck Like Glue” by Sugarland and “God Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts.

“I feel the biggest thing is for the students to feel good about their performance and just have fun,” said Holt.
