Local indie band, The Doozers, started as a couple of seventh grade friends looking to make some music.

“We all met at this music learning place called The School of Rock when we were in the seventh grade. We started the band in the early ninth grade and haven’t stopped since,” junior Charlie Belleville said.

The bunch met each other around their most awkward phases of becoming teenagers. They were all learning to make music, and together, they found their sounds just clicked. Two years later, The Doozers were formed.

“I hope that people get some kind of happiness from our music, whether it be from the studio or our live performances.”

Belleville finds a great deal of happiness from making good music with good friends and hopes he can shine a little light into the lives of others through the tunes of his guitar.
