Men’s varsity soccer player, senior Alec Socha, answered questions about his season thus far.

How is the season going?

Center Midfielder Alec Socha ’17 : “Right now it’s going okay. It’s just mid season so it’s hard to tell. We are improving every game.”

What is your team’s record?

Socha : “In our division, we have lost four games and won two.”

What do you think has been the biggest challenge for you?

Socha : “Coming back to a team that wasn’t quite as good as it was last year because last year we had a lot of amazing talent and a lot of those seniors left so now being a senior and having to step in and fill those shoes have probably been the hardest part.”

What is one thing that you really like about your team?

Socha : “We all have pretty good chemistry. Not a lot of fighting. Everyone gets along so that’s really good.”

How are you guys preparing for the next game?

Socha : “We are preparing more towards playing possession and having more fun while playing the game. Enjoying ourselves more so we play better and we’re not stiff and play bad.”
